This naturopathy course requires first aid training as part of the course curriculum. If you've previously completed a first aid course which meets the national competencies for the National Training Package HLTFA301B - Apply First Aid (including St. John Ambulance Senior First Aid Certificate), you'll receive credit for this part of the course.
This course includes clinical training which you can undertake at ACNT's campus in Sydney or Brisbane. If you are studying by distance education and live outside of Sydney or Brisbane, you can undertake your training at an approved local clinic or practice.

Through ACNT's articulation arrangement with Charles Sturt University, you may apply for entrance into the Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) degree, using your qualification to gain advanced standing.
You can also choose to deepen your knowledge in herbal medicine and/or nutrition by completing the Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine or the Advanced Diploma of Nutritional Medicine. You'll gain advanced standing for common subjects that you've already completed.

This course can be completed in 3 years of full-time study (on campus in Sydney and Brisbane or by distance education) or 6 years of part-time study (distance education only).
