This security, terrorism and counterterrorism course provides you with a multi-faceted understanding of terrorism. You'll study diplomacy, capacity building, military force and other tools, and develop a critical understanding of terrorism and security.

You'll graduate qualified to pursue any of a broad range of careers. Possibilities include public sector roles - with employers such as the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Defence, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) and the Attorney-General's office - and private sector roles in research, journalism, corporate management and international business.

What's more, you can combine your studies in this major with another major, such as IT, science or business, to stand out in your chosen field.
