Job-ready Training
ACAP focuses on experiential learning, which allows you to fully engage with your course materials through group discussions, workshops, role-plays and other activities. Courses are interactive and lively, and you emerge job ready with skills you can apply immediately. A key component of ACAP's counselling and applied psychology courses is the extensive student placement, which involves you securing work placement within an organisation of your choice. ACAP will help you organise this and support you throughout your placement. ACAP's student placement program gives you the opportunity to put theory into practice and gain valuable experience. Many ACAP students are offered paid employment as a direct result of their work placement. Employment rates for ACAP graduates are impressive - 83% of 2006 graduates found employment in 2007.
