Who is This Course for?

This TAFE course is ideal for those who want to become a skilled trainer and assessor in the workplace or within the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

You'll gain the skills required to design, develop, deliver and assess training programs. With this nationally recognised qualification, you can work as a training officer, trainer, facilitator or assessor in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is recognised by the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD) for membership requirements.

What Will I Learn?

You'll gain the skills required to deliver training in a particular area and conduct competency-based assessment. Among other things, you'll learn how to:
